Nantes Mello’s Aviation practice represents airlines, lessors, investment banks, financial guarantors and other participants in a broad array of aircraft financings, including leveraged and operating leasing, sale and leasebacks, securitization, senior and subordinated loans and structured financings in general.
Drawing on the team’s expertise in international structured finance, the firm is uniquely positioned to provide clients with the features essential to aircraft financings regardless of the form or structure. Our founding partners have represented lenders and airlines in connection with asset-based loans, and all other forms of cross-border financings.
The team also has experience and knowledge in the tax and accounting issues that drive the structuring and development of cross-border tax-based transactions. In addition, from a credit perspective, our clients benefit from the extensive industry experience of the founding partners in the bankruptcy and workout arena.
